We are very happy to announce that a new HEMA group has been created in Nicosia, Cyprus. It is called ‘Nicosia Grande Commanderie’ and its members are trained under a structured regimen provided by the Leontes HEMA Academy. The Nicosia Grande Commanderie is also a member of the Meyer Freifechter Guild.
The members of the club are trained in Byzantine Swordsmanship using sword and buckler/shield and in Renaissance Fencing following the method of Joachim Meyer.
Group Leader is Mr. Andreas Skouroupatis.
