Nicholas Petrou is historian and he lives in London. He studied his Bachelors and Masters in History at Goldsmiths University where he focused on a wide range of subjects including Organized Crime, Medieval Islamic Empires, The Roman Empire and the First World War. Both of his dissertations focused on Military History, including Provincial Governing in the Roman Empire and Surrender in the British Expeditionary Force during 1914.
He has practice HEMA and spent a year doing so in London with arming sword, shield and long sword. He has also participated in Viking Reenactment linked to the organization ‘Jomsborg’ that focused on HEMA and the Vikings linked who partook in fighting and were a part of the Varangian guard, the Eastern Roman Emperor’s personal guards.
